When T&L Specialty Company opened its doors in 1983, its plan was to offer customers the flexibility and performance they needed by providing custom chemical blends for diverse individual needs. If there wasn't a mass-produced product to solve the problem, T&L would make one.

It has been a pretty good plan. From a small 800 square foot facility, T&L has grown to over 60,000 square feet and has added a custom job shop to its chemical repertoire as another way to meet customer needs. In addition to its hometown customers in Tupelo, Mississippi, it also serves clients throughout the South, the United States, China, and India by offering cleaning agents, coolants, rust preventatives, metal-forming lubricants, paint stripping, and more to a wide variety of manufacturing concerns.

Despite T&L's growth, CEO Cecil Overton and his staff still make it a point to treat every customer as though it is the only one they have. In fact, the very first customer T&L earned is still a loyal customer today.
